What is coaching?

Think of an elite athlete. They already have the talent, the drive, the skill. But even the best in the world have a coach in their corner, someone who sees their blind spots, sharpens their focus, and helps them perform at a level they couldn't reach alone. 
Coaching works the same way for leadership. You already have the capability. What coaching offers is a thinking partner, someone who asks the right questions, reflects back what you can't see from inside your own head, and helps you access the clarity and presence that's already in you. 
I don't have the answers for your life or your leadership. You do. My role is to help you find them faster, and with a lot less overthinking along the way.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Therapy often looks backward, helping you understand and heal from the past. Coaching looks forward. We start from where you are right now and work toward where you want to go. 
I'm not a therapist, and coaching isn't a replacement for therapy when that's what's needed. Sometimes clients benefit from both at the same time, therapy for healing, coaching for forward movement. Others pause coaching to focus on therapy, then return when they're ready to build. There's no wrong path here. 
If you're functioning well, successful even, and still feel stuck in patterns like overthinking, perfectionism, or people pleasing, coaching is built for exactly that. It's about unlocking what's already in you and moving forward with clarity.

Is this only for executives, or can any high performer benefit?

I used to think coaching was just for executives too. Then I got my own coach and realized it wasn't about what I did. It was about how I wanted to be living, beyond my title.Leadership isn't confined to a job or an office. If you have influence, over a team, a family, a community, anyone who looks to you, you're leading. And how you show up in that role matters just as much as any quarterly result.My clients are executives and business leaders, but also founders, physicians, parents, and community leaders. This isn't about what you do. It's about how you want to be living, and whether you're ready to lead yourself, and everyone who looks to you, with more clarity and presence.
